Japanese beetle traps do work. Trick is to not put it where the beetles are. You need to put it outside your garden but near enough for them to smell the pheromones. 😊

I watched a you tube the other day and she did something new to me. She kept row cover over her bug magnet plants and from day to day she would hand pollinate. The plant she showed was a big zucchini plant that was pristine under cover. She didn’t mention it but I think you could probably control the number of zukes you get by only pollinating the number you want at a particular time. All available or partial. Also, the flowers were beautiful, if you like to stuff them.

I wish I could properly express how nearly miraculous it is that you can take a little chunk of potato, plant it in dirt and it grows two, three, five, new, beautiful potatoes...from what? Dirt? Air? It's truly a work of God, like all His creation, we often take for granted. Enjoy your beautiful harvest.

Yes Kelsey. I'm in Hawaii, and so many people are sick here. It's a days long headache that turns a cough for weeks. It must be what they are spraying over us. I'm super health conscious, too. Eat fresh and all homemade. It's very different this year for sure. Your harvest looked pretty great to me. Those potatoes looked amazing. What type did you plant? They look thin skinned which is my favorite. Thanks for another great video.

Potatoes look good! Ours should be ready by the time we get back from PA, yes I get to see my beautiful mountains and camp in them too! Our grow time in Mn is almost over and with the flooding and heavy rains I am glad I didnt plant alot this year. We get about 110 grow days here in a good year so no second crops for us. I am looking forward to being able to do that again once back in PA! Blessings!

I have had an organic garden since 1980 which feeds my family and the childcare loves I have cared for since the 70's. I fully believe both have allowed me great health, as my immunities are constantly being boosted, I work long days, ten hours with the children and many hours growing and prepping food. I have had one sick day in all those years. Blessed in so many ways. I do take precautions. Sanitize surfaces before and after meals. Have children wash hand properly several times per day. Pre-soak all eating utensils in a bleach solution before washing, Every child has their own designated cup. I feel small measures add up to great results. Love you and your channel. Prayers for great health for all your family,

My son was sick ALL the time with any and all viruses that was in the classroom. He had pneumonia at the age of 10, again going around the classroom. His friend had it twice and was hospitalized. We spent too much time at the urgent care! I started using a teaspoon full of coconut oil in my coffee every morning and noticed I quit catching all his sickness. So, I started him on coconut oil every morning, just a teaspoon full in a little hot chocolate. (He loved it, it tasted like a Mounds Hot Chocolate). He quit getting sick, we went almost 3 years without any sickness! I was even a lunch lady around kids all day, still no sickness! We got lazy, quit the coconut oil, and he gets mono from school, I got sick with it as well. Short story long...." Organic Unrefined " Coconut Oil, I buy mine at Aldi, for $5 a pint jar, pure GOLD! Blessings to all! Edit to add, we've had no pokes, never had c**id.

It’s so therapeutic to harvest potatoes or any root vegetable. You never know how many potatoes you’ll get. It’s also rather therapeutic to watch you as well. You’re so slow and methodical about it. Please don’t use a form or anything but your hands. Maybe your kids’ hands. But God gave you those tools first. Plus it’s so much fun! I’m so sorry your family has the yuckahs again. We haven’t had anything going around here up Maine way. We keep raw unfiltered local honey in our daily diet plus we weekly detox. Maybe that’s why. Maybe it just isn’t up in Maine. 🙏🏼healing prayers for you and your family ❤

The first time I grew potatoes they were super ugly, dirty, holes, really gross. I laid them out to cure and thought, well, crap, I guess this is what home grown looks like with no chemicals and I spose I should get use to things not looking like they came from a store. Then the longer I thought about it, I decided I didnt care if I ever eat another potato again as long as I live, I threw them out and decided theres no way Im growing them again. 😂 Everyone I watch has very clean potatoes....🤷‍♀️
